Christian heads ADB SAFEGATE, a world leader for advanced solutions for aircraft guidance on the ground. With more than 30 years of international experience in the telecommunication and airport industries, he has held leadership positions in general management, sales and marketing, project management and R&D.
Prior to assuming his role at ADB SAFEGATE, Christian was Head of ADB, an aircraft guidance solutions provider, with over 500 employees and annual sales revenue of 190 million Euro. In 2005, Christian served as the Executive Vice-President of Siemens in Thailand and before that, as the Managing Director of Siemens Réseaux Informatique et Telecommunications in France. He was also responsible for a team that set up and managed Siemens’ Information and Communication Networks (ICN) R&D Centre for Communication Software in Bangalore, India, in 1994. He began his career in 1985 as a Software Development Engineer with Siemens in Belgium. Over the years, Christian worked in different divisions at Siemens across locations including Belgium, Germany, Taiwan, India, France and Thailand.
Christian holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Electronics Engineering from the University of Gent in Belgium.
Sébastien Dreyer is the CFO at ADB SAFEGATE. Prior to this, he held the position of Financial Officer of the ADB GROUP since late 2013. He oversaw the company’s financial planning, management and reporting activities as well as IT and Legal.
With two decades of relevant experience across multiple sectors, Sébastien has held management and leadership roles in large multinational corporations across services, industrial services and packaging segments. After an early stint at Société Générale, he went on to work as the Group Treasurer at FM Logistic and Geodis, in the logistics sector, and at Havas, a global advertising and communications firm.
Prior to relocating to Belgium, he was based in Paris, France where he was UK CFO and Group Treasury and Tax Director, Global Closure Systems, for more than six years.
Sébastien is an Alumnus of HEC Business School where his primary specialization was in Finance.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Henrik is Vice President Sales & Marketing at ADB SAFEGATE where he is responsible for both strategy and operations within the function. Managing one of the biggest teams in the company he ensures the sales force across continents is geared up to deliver an integrated portfolio of products and solutions to customers.
With two decades of relevant experience, Henrik brings with him a sound understanding and wealth of knowledge in sales and marketing. After an early stint with FRA (Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment) and Precise Biometrics, he went on to join the Safegate Group where he has spent a significant part of his career.
Henrik has helped build and lead key projects for the company in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Oceania region. He became a member of the Safegate Group Executive Committee where he was tasked to play the role of Post Merger Integrator (PMI) during the acquisition of Liberty Airport Systems in Toronto, Canada. During the merger of ADB and Safegate, he once again acted as PMI helping to re-design, integrate and align the 900 employee strong organisation. In his last role as Regional Director Sales, Henrik was responsible for leading the sales force in the Middle East and India region.
Henrik holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from The Institute of Technology at Linköping University, Sweden.

Steve is Chief Operating Officer at ADB SAFEGATE. He began his career in the airfield industry in 1998, working as a project manager with the Safegate Group. Prior to that, Steve worked in the mining industry in Australia at diverse locations, primarily in project and asset management. During his time at Safegate, Steve held a number of positions, including Managing Director in the UAE, General Manager in Sweden and Managing Director in Australia. Throughout his time at Safegate, Steve has always had a strong focus on delivering projects and the project life cycle, a trait that continues even today.
Steve’s educational qualifications are a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Sydney and a Master of Engineering (Project Management) from Deakin University in Melbourne.
Steve’s guiding belief is that the workplace should be a positive and rewarding environment, as it is the key to an organization’s success. When not at work, Steve likes to “get away from it all”!
Joe is CEO Americas at ADB SAFEGATE. An airfield lighting industry veteran with decades of experience, Joe is a proven executive in both engineering and sales functions. Previously, he has held multiple positions at ADB, starting as an electrical engineer and quickly moving to Project Engineering Manager where he was responsible for project management of control systems for the North American market. In 1999, he became the Director of Sales and Marketing, which included responsibility for airfield lighting sales in North America and international U.S. military as well as business development, marketing and technical services. Joe’s role expanded in 2010 when he became Director of Sales and Marketing for all of the Americas.
He has an Electrical Engineering Degree from DeVry Institute of Technology and an MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.
Vice President HR ad interim
Jean-François Delbar is Vice President HR ad interim at ADB SAFEGATE. In this capacity, he supports the senior leadership on pushing forward initiatives in HR development while ensuring HR administrative efficiency.
Jean-François brings a wealth of human resource and business partner experience acquired through various assignments and geographies with the Procter & Gamble company. He has a strong track record in areas of HR administration, development, people management, change management, M&A and cultural integration in a competitive and fast moving environment.
He completed most of his education in Belgium and holds a Master’s Degree in Law and Notary from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Vlerick School of Gent.
In his spare time, Jean-François is a lay judge in the Labor Court of Gent.
