The VIS is ADB SAFEGATE’s pure sine wave Constant Current Regulator (CCR) – it is specially designed to supply power to airport lighting series circuits at various intensity levels. The CCR’s high reaction speed allows it to effortlessly cope with present-day circuits characterized by non-linear loads like taxiway guidance signs, LED electronics and ILCMS modules. Based on ADB SAFEGATE’s state-of-the-art PWM - IGBT power management technology, the VIS delivers fully digitalized high precision control and regulation that helps overcome changes as a result of temperature, voltage or other physical parameters. It includes remote network control, monitoring and diagnostic capabilities and is equipped with an integrated menu-driven Human Machine Interface (HMI) which supports full configuration on-site without any additional equipment.
