Laser Ceilometer - Dual Lens, 25,000 ft and 40,000 ft
The Dual Lens Aviation-Grade laser ceilometers are designed to provide accurate measurements of cloud height, cloud layer thickness, and vertical visibility. Additionally, the ceilometer can measure up to four cloud layers simultaneously, with options for coverage of up to 25,000 vertical feet (7,600 meters) and 40,000 vertical feet (12,200 meters). The ceilometer’s precise laser technology makes it ideal for use in demanding automated weather applications, such as AWOS, as well as for meteorological research and aviation.
The ADB SAFEGATE Aviation-Grade cloud height laser ceilometer is FAA-certified and conforms to the recommendations of both the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). With over 2,000 laser ceilometers deployed worldwide, the system has proven to enhance operational safety and provide a safer airspace for the flying community.
