Motor Aspirated Radiation Shield (MARS)
The 8190 Series Motor-Aspirated Radiation Shield (MARS) provides protected mounting for temperature and humidity probes, shielding them from direct solar heat and precipitation.
The 8190 Series is a virtually maintenance-free radiation shield, constructed of heavy-duty, non-corrosive polymer, and features a reliable, long-life 12 VDC fan for continuous aspiration.
Each MARS accommodates one probe: a temperature probe, a humidity probe, or a combination sensor. All cable terminations to the MARS are made through weatherproof connectors to ensure accurate readings and extend the lifespan of the equipment.
