Balram Bheodari
Balram Bheodari is a respected aviation leader with more than 30 years of experience overseeing airport operations, safety, security, infrastructure development, and strategic planning. He has held key executive roles across some of the world’s busiest airports, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the Houston Airport System.
Bheodari previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the Houston Airport System and as General Manager of George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), where he managed daily operations for more than 41 million annual passengers and led major process, technology, and infrastructure initiatives. He also spent several years in senior leadership positions at Hartsfield-Jackson, guiding multi-million-dollar operating and capital programs and playing pivotal roles in launching the Rental Car Center, ATL SkyTrain, and the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal.
He holds the prestigious Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) and International Airport Professional (IAP) designations, earned by fewer than 10% of airport executives. A U.S. Army veteran, Bheodari served 22 years as an instrument-rated rotary-wing pilot and senior aviation adviser. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Troy University and completed executive education at Emory University.
