Gert Taeymans, serves as the Executive Vice President (EVP) for Europe at ADB SAFEGATE, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the airport sector, including roles at Siemens, Honeywell, and ADB SAFEGATE. His professional journey began in telecommunications before he made a shift to the airport industry, where he has had various roles in service, sales, and project management.
Within the airport business, Gert has focused on sales, business development, and operations management across several regions. This focus led to his role as ADB SAFEGATE's VP of Western Europe in 2020 and later to his present position as EVP for Europe. In his current role, Gert is a driving force behind ADB SAFEGATE’s advancements in the European market.
Holding an MSc in Applied Engineering, specializing in electronics and telecommunications, Gert’s technical foundation, coupled with his keen understanding of the airport industry, positions him as an integral member of ADB SAFEGATE’s executive team.
