FTD taxiway lights are part of a comprehensive range of 8-inch diameter inset lights for all aviation ground lighting requirements, including centerline taxiway lights, on straight and curved sections, on rapid exit taxiways and also as apron lights to assist aircraft docking maneuvers. Due to their individually switchable light channels, their high light output and wide beam coverage, the lights are particularly well suited for use in SMGC and A-SMGC systems. Offering 1500 hours at full intensity and in excess of 4000 hours under normal operating conditions, these lights have a long-life. The aluminum alloy-based lights, available with specific tools for easy installation and maintenance are lightweight and easy to use. Some of the other benefits include optimal light output under heavy rainfall and low energy consumption.
