DRC-DTZ runway lights serve runways of all categories and are also used as touchdown zone lights in CAT II and III and for RETILs application in all categories. The lights have very low energy consumption (typically 15W per side) and require minimal maintenance thanks to the lifetime of LEDs. This results in guaranteed substantial savings on investment costs as well as increased traffic efficiency and taxiways availability. Connection and operation of the lights are fully compatible with the classic airfield lighting series circuits with no need to change the CCR's, series transformers or cables. The lights are fully dimmable just like traditional halogen lights and require very low working temperature, ensuring a longer life of the components.
